The Arizona Association for Property and Evidence (A.A.P.E.) was formed in January of 1992, and become incorporated on June 10th of that same year. The primary goal of the A.A.P.E. is to promote the professionalism of the property and evidence function within the state through the cooperation and sharing of information with individual agencies.

VAPEP – Virginia Association of Property & Evidence Professionals
The VACP, formed in 1926, is an incorporated 501(c)(6) non-profit professional membership association. Its more than 600 members are made up of active and retired federal, state, local and private law enforcement and criminal justice agency executives, administrators and managers. Members also include persons in law enforcement-related businesses, support industries or government agencies. The VACP has three classes of dues-paying membership — Active, Associate, and Senior. The VACP also has a small group of non-dues paying retired members (classified as “Honorary”) who were grandfathered in following a 2004 Bylaws change when their membership class was eliminated. A ten-member Executive Board elected by the Active members governs the affairs of the VACP.
